Stone Barn
Conversion.

We added hempcrete as internal wall insulation to a stone barn conversion in Shropshire. The client wanted to keep the character of the building and follow the curvature of the walls. Hempcrete lends itself beautifully to this and allowed us to emphasise the natural wonky form of the walls and windows.

After some back and forth on the finish, the client chose a smooth lime plaster to match the ceilings rather than the more rustic look they first had in mind.

Hempcrete has been a dream to work with, and the lime plasterers have said it’s really helped move the drying process along. Jack made everything run so smoothly. The team he had were a credit to you.
